The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will be used for our STEM and PBL lessons and activities in class. STEM/PBL lessons in school are important for students because they push them to ask questions, make real world connections, think critically and be innovative problem solvers. STEM education exposes students unfamiliar topics and gives them the opportunity to explore new ideas and work like engineers to create innovative solutions. The goal is for students to become independent problem solvers and thinkers. Learning through STEM promotes these two very important skills. With the addition of the 3D pens my students will be able to create and see their designs come to life.
