These new classroom library books will be used by students to practice reading out loud to the class. This activity will help them improve their reading and english verbal skills. It is important for ESL students to continuously practice speaking to improve their english proficiency. I also desire to purchase story telling cards. Students will select picture cards from a deck and arrange them however they'd like to share their fictional story to the class. This activity will build the student's vocabulary and inspire creativity in the classroom. The conversation starter cards will help the kids get to know each other and establish comfortable relationships. ESL kids need to be surrounded by a friendly, positive environment where they feel encouraged to learn and practice new english skills.
