We can't learn academics unless we can regulate our emotions! This calming corner will help our students who need help with regulation and self care! For example, if students come to school dysregulated they may start their day in the calming corner. If they become dysregulated during the day I will teach them the cues and how to successfully transition to and from our calming corner. This will be a shared space for students to use in my classroom and for other students in need as well. Thanks for considering!
