Board games help many students learn how to control impulses, wait for a turn, learn to work with others, and follow directions. They are also a great way to use reinforcement with others. With the Teachers' pay teachers gift cards, I will be able to buy additional curriculum to use with my students with unique needs and gear towards more individualized behavior interventions and teachings. Many of the tools will support many students dealing with anxiety and depression that have been exacerbated during COVID, and those who struggle with communication and sensory regulation. When our students are healthy, physically and mentally, they can better process and learn what is being taught to them. The emotional well-being of our students is my top priority, and these tools will aid our team in our efforts.
