We want our program to be something simple, a place for a students to go and share their talents! They need an outlet, something to enjoy. We don't have any funding, but are in need supplies like colored pencils, paints, oil pastels, canvases, drawing paper, sketching pencils, etc. We plan on meeting twice a month and hope to provide them with materials, as well as a basic education on different styles of art and information about the artists who help make our world so diverse. We plan on working with our local Art Guild, other students, and staff to educate our students about the arts. Monthly projects will be offered to take home to complete and return for the next session to share. This is an opportunity for us to give back and to help them find a meaningful outlet to express themselves in a welcoming environment while learning!
