My students will use these materials everyday during rotations for math and reading where they will work with teams to build words, read books, practice letter names and sounds and number sense. These materials will continue to spark the interest of my students so they are excited to learn each and everyday they come to school. I will be able to provide them the resources they need to think outside the box. Students will use these materials to help them work with their peers using manipulatives. These manipulatives will help students work together while learning sounds, letters and learning to read. The books will also give students the chance to read a variety of books, share their thoughts and use their imagination to be authors and illustrators. Students will also gain experiences with numbers setting a foundation for number sense. All of these manipulatives will help students collaborate, build relationship and challenge their learning to a new level. The students will be able to use these manipulatives instead of always using worksheets.
