Assisting and supporting students where they are. I work with students to improve areas of SEL, academics, mental and physical health. My students will use and benefit from the Samsung Galaxy Tab being requested by having technology to reach a larger audience and after Covid, it is vitally important to meet students on a new level. Being mobile will allow me to go to the next level by seeing them in non-traditional locations. Often the counseling office is out of the way and intimidating. I want students to be comfortable. By having technology that allows me to be mobile, I can conference with students outside of my office. IE in the quad, in the hall outside of their class, in the cafeteria... The technology will also allow me to have resources readily available to share with students to help with SEL, academic and mental health. 2021 is all about accessibility. Having a mobile counselor will enhance the accessibility of resources and help available to my students. Also, because a lot of my students are not native English speakers, having technology on hand will help with translation.
