These instruments will make it possible for these primary grade students to have the hands-on experience of playing music in the classroom. These student's first experience with music class was in the virtual setting. Although we made use of virtual instruments, the opportunity to play acoustic instruments will help the students develop their musical and fine motor skills. By playing these pitched percussion instruments, the students can develop and practice their sense of pitch and pitch matching, experience and create simple harmonies and work on hand independence, and right/left orientation.
