These STEM kits and materials will support students in growing their knowledge of the standards in reading, writing, math, and science by providing fun hands-on support to what’s being taught in class. Students need to relate and build their schema by applying what they are learning and what better way than through an engaging center. Most of these centers allow students to have some struggle but still provide the necessary scaffolding at various learning levels. The hope is that students take this knowledge and apply it to other areas-building a lifelong passion to learn.
