Currently, scholars purchase or cut letters for projects by hand which often time leaves their boards not looking as polished as they could be giving the impression that the content is not of quality when that is not at all the case. By having the Cricut Maker, scholars can feel good about their work and bring more life to their projects. A joy everyone can feel good about especially when everyone can not afford to "do more." Scholars engage more when they feel better about the quality of their work. The portable projector would allow scholars to have class beyond the physical space of the classroom. For example, the school has a small outdoor amphitheater which would be great for socratic discussions and role playing, but my scholars need see instruction, diagrams and steps for completion. After having been quarantined for nearly two years, my scholars work extremely well when we can change the scenery!
