Our classroom library is very limited and is need of more modern and interesting books to encourage students to want to read more. We are in need of higher content books for lower reading levels across all genres, especially non-fiction. Funding for this project would benefit a special education classroom with 10 students who are wanting a variety of books to increase their reading level. The variety of books will help students learn about new topics and expand their knowledge in other content areas such as science and history. This will help students build on their prior knowledge and help them identify more topics they are interested in learning more about.

About my class
