These books will make a difference in my students’ learning because they will give them more opportunity for choice in reading material. Choice in reading is so important to enhance a child's desire to read. Students who learn to love to read for pleasure have been known to continue to read as adults. I want to be able to share my love of reading with my students. My program, the ESL Lender Library, allows each of my students to take a book home for a week. I would like to have more variety in the books I provide. These books are also read in class after assignments.
