Having high-interest books or enough math manipulatives for every student to have their own set will greatly improve my students learning experiences. Often books are a way for students to escape and having high-interest books in our classroom library will allow students to not only practice their reading skills but also escape into a book they love. Having math manipulatives will aid my students' understanding of math, especially with each student being able to have their own set of manipulatives they are able to keep for the year. Also, having better quality pencil sharpeners, and organizational baskets and other gear will help our classroom run more smoothly.
