Using manipulatives and games makes learning math fun for students. Students learn concepts better when it is visual. Using a game format makes math more engaging and fun. Math manipulatives are a great way for students to understand what is happening with math problems. Many of the games will be a great review at the end of the school year. Most students enjoy the competitive play as well. I also chose chess because it is a great way to problem solve and a fun game as well. Thank you so much!
