I used this product many years ago as I've been teaching students with disabilities for many years. This year I have two kindergarten students that have severe language impairments. The curriculum that the students are currently using is awesome, but it is phonemic based and these students are having tremendous difficulty producing letter sounds. The curriculum I am requesting is a "whole word" approach to teaching reading. It provides the repetition and explicit instruction as well as opportunities for the student's to practice what they need using stories and phrase card activities. I would love to see these students successful on their ability to read. Thank you for considering to fund this reading program.
