Every week a topic will be chosen. Books aimed at social/emotional learning can help provide a model or example of important behavioral skills. These books will help lead discussions about each topic. Further, I will pair the books with supplemental materials to make each lesson engaging. Students will be measured by their participation and response to each lesson to help understand students who pick up on these skills versus students who may need more individualized supports. This project will help teach students skills to help them understand, communicate, and gain skills in their social and emotional behavior.
