Because of virtual teaching, there was more than a summer slide in learned skills this past year. Having a math resource book that is filled with Grade 4 math concepts and skills will allow each student to continually refer to ready information to enhance the math instruction being given. Having a book with each student's name on the front and math tools for each student goes a long way in showing students that they matter and that learning is important. Teaching is difficult without the necessary tools and having tools for each student is helpful for instruction.
