Books are a gateway to the imagination and learning for young children. Our classroom has only been open for a couple years and has continued to grow. Due to this growth we are in need of adding materials to support learning. One of the best ways to grow and develop is through literacy and language. In our classroom we use books to extend and grow the knowledge of our students. These books would provide an extension to our daily activities based on our weekly theme. We know that books provide opportunities for growth in fine-motor skills, literacy, and language. These books will provide our classroom with materials that are necessary to learn, grow, and develop by learning about the world outside of our classroom.
