These items will inspire them to turn in their work, show up on time, and do their best to get good grades. This will not only teach them accountability but financial responsibility, as well. There will be items in various ticket categories. The students will have to decide which item and or items they really want. My students are a wonderful bunch of bright students with plenty of potential! I have some students that are thrilled with the smallest token of appreciation. This will give them something tangible to work for. I can't wait to see their faces! New books, headphones and a treasure box full of new surprises is bound to excite any elementary student! RL.2.3 Describe how characters in a story respond to major events and challenges. RL.2.1 Ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text.
