My students struggle with basic math properties developing number fluency and place value standards. Their number sense has been profoundly impacted by the pandemic. They need physical materials to support their learning. The number boards will help develop skills for adding and subtracting using the same numbers. Additionally, my students have suffered tremendous setbacks with regard to reading and foundational skills. I am adding more basic readers to my classroom library with the intent of growing confidence levels. My students love both fiction and nonfiction so those books will be a fantastic addition to get them looking at and trying to read new books. I need the composition notebooks to keep working on basic writing skills. These materials will help support specific domains and areas that are in critical need of growth.
