My students learn the systems of the body in the 7th grade. We can draw the body, and I can show pictures of the human body all day. However, having a human body model and being able to feel and build the body takes learning to a whole new level. This project hits all of my learners; visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learners. The goal of this project is to bring learning to life. The models for the human body will allow my students to manipulate the bones to see how the tendon and ligaments help move the body. The models will show how the ribs protect major organs in the body.
