Our mobile lending library will be used daily to increase fluency, vocabulary, and reading skills at home. Many students have come to school with large deficits due to Covid 19. We can close those gaps by providing access to great books and reading resources for students to work on independently at home. In our community, many students do not have access to reading material at home. Our mobile lending library will allow students to check-out books in our classroom as often as they would like! These books will enrich their learning and provide them with a print-rich learning environment at home. My students love to read and are eager to devour books! This library will allow them to take books home to read that are on their reading level in order to become better readers.
