3D printers are the future, the first 3D-printed house was created in France, and 3D printers are beginning to create organs to help people live. Help me prepare my students in learning how to code, create, and design projects using a 3D printer. Students will be able to design different projects, create new STEM projects, and see their designs come to life with a 3D printer. Most of my students come from low-income households and do not have paper at home to draw. Imagine giving the same technology that scientists use to develop new innovating technology to 5th-grade students. Think of the imagination that they will use to come up with to design different materials to help handicapped students or to develop new chairs that will help students in school. Even though my students are in a school system that is suffering financially doesn't mean that these students should suffer from not having state-of-the-art science materials. Help create future engineers who could create sustainable homes for low-income families, future scientists who can develop sustainable water filtration, and help make a difference for students not just today but in their future.
