Students love to participate in activities where problem-solving, collaboration with their peers, and instant feedback are involved. I have such an activity that is appropriate for all of my elementary students from kindergarten to 5th grade. Our students will explore different STEM concepts as they get hands-on with rotating through each station. These stations will be a combination of understanding engineering concepts and problem-solving by completing makerspace challenges. Active engagement is guaranteed with these activities. Students love this concept of learning and become passionate learners of STEM.
