These materials will be available to my students when they are feeling frustrated or need a second to cool off before they return to learning. I want to give my students a space for them to recenter. I want my cool-down corner to be fun, and inviting, and not to make the students feel like they are being punished when they are sent there during a rough day. These tools would help my students to better regulate their emotions and find healthier means of coping with their stress and emotions.
