My students don't always get the opportunity to venture outside of our city so books are the next best thing. They are curious about the plants and animals that make up their state but they want to know so much more. We live in a beautiful state with a lot of unique history. What they lack in opportunity they make up for in curiosity. I'd like for them to have the chance to "travel" within our classroom.
