My students need headphones so they can focus on their computer programs rather than being distracted by the students around them, water bottles to refill at the sink since they can't use the water fountains, and white boards and markers to use in the classroom. Our students are still reeling from the effects of Covid and school is a bit different from when students were last on campus. Since they are no longer allowed to use the drinking fountains, students are finding themselves thirsty. As we run out of plastic cups they have nothing to drink from. The water bottles will allow students to refill when they are thirsty and not have to worry about being thirsty all day. The headphones will allow students to focus on their own computer programs rather than the noise from everybody around them since we are no longer allowed to share headphones. During whole group instruction, students use whiteboards to solve math problems and record their thoughts/responses. Help me give my students the resources they need to be successful!
