These laboratory supplies will help me teach and promote the following Nevada Academic Content Standards. 6th-8th grade, Life Sciences MS.LS1.1 - Conduct an investigation to provide evidence that living things are made of cells, either one cell or many different numbers and types of cells. 6th-8th grade, Life Sciences MS.LS1.2 - Develop and use a model to describe the function of a cell as a whole and ways parts of cells contribute to the function. 6th-8th grade, Life Sciences MS.LS2.3 - Develop a model to describe the cycling of matter and flow of energy among living and nonliving parts of an ecosystem. The supplies will address the needs of my students. Some of my students were affected academically, socially and/or emotionally by COVID-19. These supplies will help me to engage my students. I can't wait to see how much they learn and grow.
