If funded, this project will provide my students with access to tablets that are not readily available in my classroom at this time. In this technologically literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology! W.K.6 - With guidance and support from adults, explore a variety of digital tools to produce and publish writing, including in collaboration with peers. My students will be able to use the iPad and Fire tablet to do research and write down their findings. My students will have access to various educational apps that will help increase their knowledge in reading. (RF.K.3c, RF. K.3, RF. K.3a) Interactive technology makes learning more engaging and memorable. It will also offer ways to motivate my students to make them successful in 21st century learning.
