These materials will make a world of a difference for our students. Our high school has never competed in anything and we were graciously given the opportunity to do so in the First Tech Robotics competition. I was asked to be the head coach and I have assembled a small team of students who give everything they have to this team. Unfortunately, our funding is not that of other more established schools. We have 1 wrench, 1 screw driver, zero extra screws/nuts/bolts etc. It became clear to us early that much of this is all about trial and error. Unfortunately, when your supplies are limited, you can not actually afford to make mistakes. We are so thankful for what we already have, but would be thrilled if we had extra supplies. The toolbox, tools, and supply pieces I have requested could help us make alterations to this robot and will be continuously used for years to come.
