Teaching students with learning disabilities has given me the opportunity to see how different minds work. Studies have shown that all students learn in different ways, but what I have noticed with my students is that when they have flexible seating that allows them to fidget in a productive way, they pay more attention then sitting in a regular chair. Flexible seating is the future. Giving my students the option of flexible seating allows them to choose how they are going to focus and puts the responsibility of their learning back in their hands.
