Because I teach government I need to show update, visual aids. These will include videos, news stories, statistics and political cartoons. With an updated laptop, I can create new google slide presentations, have students present videos or visuals and have no lag time. For example, I was teaching my AP government students about their freedoms under the First Amendment; I showed them a news article about a man in Texas and asked them if everyone deserves protections under the First amendment, even if you are a convicted on death row.

About my class
