The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students already have a "home." In other words, I know exactly where everything will go. We just need your help in getting everything to our door! The whiteboards will be used for whole group mini-lessons in writing, building sight words, and math. The scented markers will help students bring their sense of smell into play while writing and drawing during free choice. The variety of letter sets will be used to build sight words and construct sentences in small group centers. The building blocks will be used for constructing dream homes, animal habits, and eventually can be integrated into sight word building too to help fine-tune fine motor skills and keep them engaged with blocks they love!
