The future workforce is inevitably laden with STEM focused careers. I am devoted to inspiring students to love science and pursue future studies that will lead to STEM careers. Middle school students are at a pivotal and impressionable point in their school careers. It is a time where their curiosity needs to be nourished and expanded upon. National Board certification has a direct impact on student learning. Maintaining the National Board certification will continue to ensure that my teaching has a relevant and impactful influence on students. National Board for Professional Teaching Standards helps me as a teacher to reflect on the impacts of my actions and planning on student learning.

About my class
