We are hosting three Triple P days for our Primary learners this school year. Each grade level will offer up to 15 choices of inquiry-based play activities for students to engage in for an entire morning. Students will rotate through their top three choices. The list of items requested is based on our Primary students' ideas for play activities. All of our grades wish to have Marble Runs as an option. Our kindergarteners want to build a zoo with blocks and create a short movie about their zoo. All grades levels are requesting a car room where they can build roads and tracks with paper and blocks and showcase their tracks for others. We have multiple art rooms requested where students can create art freely. All items will directly influence student engagement while promoting creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Byron Primary School strives to create relevant, authentic, and fun learning experiences that create high levels of student engagement through collaboration and creativity. Allowing students the opportunity to have a voice and choice in their learning experiences through purposeful and passionate play centers creates high levels of participation and engagement. Students are beginning to find areas of interest and passion and we want to continue to provide diverse experiences to allow students to select and participate in activities that spark their interest.
