Our classrooms are more plugged in than ever before. While this enables us to create a more engaging learning environment, it can also leave some students wondering where their next charge will come from. Having charging stations available to my students will allow my students to have reliable access to a power source to charge their student devices. The charging stations will also allow our classroom to take the first step into becoming paperless. I am also asking for a class set of iPad pencils to help us become a paper free classroom. Though my school is lucky enough to have 1:1 student devices, many students are more comfortable using paper because it allows them more flexibility than their keyboards do. A donation of iPad pencils will empower my students to maximize their resources by using their iPads to draw, annotate texts, handwrite notes, and more! Both of these donations will help our class use technology to bring literature to life with more interactive and engaging lessons.
