Given that this is my first year as a TFA teacher and we are just getting back into in-person, resources are scarce. All supplies I have requested serve a very specific purpose in the setting of my classroom. I am requesting pencils, pens, and markers which are the most common essentials needed for day-to-day activities including grading, and for my students who don't have the proper writing utensils. The True Clear Water Bottles will be given to my students. A lot of my students come to school very thirsty and they do not trust the water fountains enough to continuously use them, which is understandable, especially during a pandemic. Softsoap Antibacterial Liquid Handsoap will be used at the many sinks in my Science room for kids to wash off their hands after messy activities and to clean materials that need to be reused. The HP OfficeJet printer will be used to replace the outdated and sometimes buggy printer I have in my classroom. The printer has been a very useful tool within my classroom for printing assignments on the go. The Clorox spray is used to clean tabletops and other materials. The paper towels will be used for cleaning up spills and drying hands. The stapler will be used for stapling student work together and putting their work on the walls. The chalk markers will be used for student activities where they can draw and write on special surfaces. The Toss and Catch Paddles will be used for my I.C.U. (Intensive Content University) class for health and wealth activities. The dodge balls will also be used for my ICO class for health and wealth activities. The snacks serve as treats for student participation and good behavior. The beanbag chairs will serve as a special privilege seating for students that exhibit exceptional behavior.
