FIRST robotics is an ideal way to teach middle schoolers how to work together, work with tools, design projects in a group setting, and learn to work together. This is only the tip of the iceberg in discussing the advantages to my awesome middle-schoolers! We have the kits we need on the way but I just realized that I didn't have the phones I needed to run the robots and I didn't have any tools with which to build the robots. Our budget is very small at the school I work at and I don't want to disappoint my kids by not having all the materials we need!
