Think of a time when you were hungry or cold or needed a mint during a meeting. It's uncomfortable and distracting. Students feel the same way! Students cannot learn if their basic needs are not met. I have requested supplies like: cookies, face masks, colored pencils, and fidget toys. These are are little things that add up to a big impact. I would use the supplies to keep my cabinet stocked with these items for my high schoolers to feel ready for the day. I am also a brand new special education teacher. A little donation to this project could help a long way!
