Flexible seating allows students who have difficulty focusing have an outlet to channel their extra energy. I have used several forms of flexible seating in my classroom for small group work, and independent work. However, having flexible seating for each student that they can use at for the duration of the school day would truly help their academic performance. Providing students with an outlet to channel their energy will help to decrease classroom disruptions and help to keep students engaged in the lesson. My students love the flexible seating I already use, however, the current flexible seating is not feasible for their desks.

About my class
