Children who have autism benefit from sensory toys that help them learn how to express their feelings.The feeling toys will help my students express how they are feeling and how to manage their feelings. This skill is important because when they become adults they can correctly navigate around their society. Many inner city students do not have access to recess out side and the The balance toys will help my students exercise their bodies in the classroom and help with their coordination. Flexible sitting will help the students choose where they would like to work in the classroom. Children who have autism are easily over stimulated and need an area in the classroom to help them decompress.
