Help supply my amazing class with a historical fiction novel! The Great Horn Spoon is a novel study that will help my students combine their love of fictional stories with great historical context for 4th grade! Novels are an important part of teaching students to love reading. This novel in particular helps not only encourage that love, but also couples it with teaching California’s history which makes it incredibly beneficial for this school year! We need to maximum learning opportunities while engaging students and this novel helps do both!
