The books selected explore various popular topics with second graders. My students will be delighted to get these new books in their hands. Keeping them engaged in books that meet their interests at their reading level will help them develop into lifelong readers. Today's teachers have to compete with so many different forms of media platforms and it is more important than ever to provide books that children are excited to read. Pulling children away from an overstimulated environment and into the vast adventures allows children to explore their own imaginations while improving their literacy skills.

About my class
