I incorporate social-emotional learning activities into my lessons so that students can learn to connect their emotions and social skills to whatever content they are learning in a positive way. The items that I purchase help not only to make learning fun but also to make learning a social and emotional exercise for my students. They learn math better when they feel connected to the concept as well as have hands-on activities to keep them occupied and excited about learning. The supplies that I am requesting will help my students not only learn but make an educational impact on them thus enhancing their academic achievement. I want to reward them for their learning effort and good behavior and show them that I appreciate them by bringing Christmas to the classroom.
