These chairs will be used to provide each student their own seat to move around on while also working, listening, and thinking. With 17 kindergarten students it is difficult to meet the need of education and movement these students desperately need each day. With these chairs we can accomplish working AND moving all at the same time. I have 2 yoga ball chairs in my classroom currently and have noticed an insane amount of focus that these kids are able to give when they have the option to wiggle and move around while doing their work. It is in the best interest of each of these kids to have the option to move around while learning and be confined to moving at only recess and PE. I hope to provide this outlet for each of my students so together we can achieve their greatest potential.
