These ukuleles will give my upper elementary students a well-rounded music education that supports their love of music. My students will thrive in music class while learning ukuleles. They will learn how to play in an ensemble, which teaches teamwork, builds classroom community, and working towards a goal. Playing ukuleles teaches students finger dexterity, ear training with chord/note identification, and how to listen to chord changes in everyday music. These students will use these instruments are school in hopes to create an after school ukulele club for students who want more intense experience.

About my class
