I teach in an awesome elementary in Blackwell,Oklahoma. My kids love to read. We start off the year learning that reading can take you anywhere you want to go. We have an awesome principal that gives rewards when the students reach various levels of points after passing a test over books that they have read (Accelerated Reader). This keeps our children very motivated towards reading! I have 23 students, and a variety of levels. I have some special needs children that would benefit greatly from the books on cd. Even though a buddy or I may read to them the students feel more accomplished if they have listened to the cd, followed along, and passed an AR test on their own.
