Please help me in providing students with the options to learn in an environment that makes them comfortable. Over half of the students in my classroom have a disability that causes hyperactivity and affects their ability to focus. This causes my students to roam and feel uncomfortable within the small spaces provided. Giving them the opportunity to choose a more comfortable seat will allow for greater focus and retention of academic content. Many of my students prefer learning in a setting that is similar to the comforts of home, especially after pandemic lockdown. Providing my class with flexible seating will make learning achievable, helping close our academic gaps.
