We are continuing to build an extracurricular FIRST LEGO League program. The team will be competing at the regional competition in December. The goal is to develop further STEM skills after the competition with an in-house robotics competition through the spring. The spring program will also serve as an introduction to third graders who will be able to participate in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge next year. The new SPIKE Prime kits will allow the students to have more hands-on time with coding and develop skills quickly in the limited time we have. The FIRST LEGO League Challenge is a fun way to sneak some math and science into the team's day while also developing personal and team skills that will carry throughout their lifetime. Any new SPIKE Prime kits will open up robotics to as many students as possible, and power up stealth learning with a different kind of fun!
