The personal desk organizers I am requesting will allow my students to keep their personal math supplies (folder, calculator, pencils, etc.) at their desks. When students come to my classroom, they will not need to worry about forgetting or losing much-needed supplies. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. The desk organizers I am requesting will be attached to the side of each desk in my classroom. The desk organizer will give students easy access to their math folder, writing utensils, calculator and etc. Even though my students are great at getting their supplies before class time, it is distracting for many students who have focusing issues when another student walks around getting supplies after class has started. They are more likely to miss out on important instructions from me. The desk organizers will help my students transition from one activity to the next without wasting instructional minutes gathering and passing out supplies. Students will practice personal responsibility by keeping their desk organizers neat and ready for use each day.
